Compiling ones' family tree has become very popular in the last few years; the huge growth of the Internet, the availability of information on various web sites or just peoples curiosity and desire to know where they came from. Probably all of these have contributed to the increased interest in the hobby. This web site has been created to bring together all of the information currently available about our family history. I hope you find it interesting.
This web site has been designed to be an electronic scrap book. To capture as much of our family's history as possible and to share it with the generations to come. I would like to dedicate this site to my uncle, Harry Turley. Without his hard work, unearthing most of our family history, none of this would be possible. Thank you.

It includes biographies of some of our more notable family members. That's not to say the rest of us are any less interesting! There are copies of Census return forms from 1841 to 1901. A gallery of places where our ancestors came from and I've tried to include photos of the places that they would have been familiar with at the time they lived there.
